The Volcom Snowboarding Catalogue is sitting on my desk and it really is making me want to book a snowboarding Holiday.
The opening shot of Gigi Ruf and team smashing a powder field is enough reason to get the credit card out.
Volcom is also pleased to annouce that this year it has successfully acquired a patent for its Zip-Tech technology. (Again one of these moments where I am thinking why did I not come up with that its so simple and works so well). This interface lets you easily join your pants to your jacket with no gaps like on other systems, so you literally get no, none, nientie, nothing down your back. It also helps prevent ice burn that you can get when riding outback.

Continuing with the Hardcloud skateboarding theme this morning, I have been looking over and reviewing tweaker magazine. There are a lot of ezines appearing out there at the moment for almost all the extreme sports. I have seen them for surfing, kitesurfing, windsurfing, FMX and they all offer slightly different styles of reader and approach to articles and interviews etc.
Tweaker zine is a UK skateboarding magazine that focuses on UK riders and companies and general news from around our shores. Check out the brand below.
The magazine is well laid out and what tweakerzine does that is slightly different from other ezines is it treats each article as a separate story in its own right. You can scroll between articles/features and then look through the pages of just this feature before moving onto the next subject matter.
The biggest advantage of this is you get quick load times and I have never been waiting for new content to load if I am quick flicking the pages. This is a common problem with some of the older style readers.
Excellent articles and excellent content on the UK skateboarding scene.. Well worth checking out.

Nike and the Nike Swoosh have entered the surf and skate market in the last few years with some classic Nike touches. Added some bold colourways and panel layouts which make the shoes very comfy but also really standout. The Air Zoom Oncore and Air Mogan are our favourites here. The rasta style with a twist in the Air Mogan rasta are definately my favourites.
We are really liking the greens, yellows, turquoises, reds and yellows that appear to make up the range.

The Beanie, wooly hat, cap, visor is a must have fashion item now. Gone are the days of just having a hat/beanie to keep your head warm. Todays styles, shapes colours and profiles all help to make up a look and style.
